Erosion: 2007-2008

In 2007 Christopher Webb began a body of work under the title, “Erosion”. The work was intended to be a response to the breakdown of the natural environment, but intuitively, the piece dealt with future dismantling of the artist’s own environment. The short period marked a time of creative experimentation which led to themes that became prevalent in Webb’s mid-career work. An exhibition of the same name was mounted at the Rouge Gallery in Saskatchewan, Canada.
